Scout Uniforms

The Scout uniform is one of the most visible signs of Scout membership. Wearing the uniform correctly shows pride in the troop and the BSA. Scouts are expected to wear their complete uniform to all troop meetings, courts of honor, and official events.

Field Uniform ("Class A")
The official BSA khaki shirt with troop numerals, council shoulder patch, and rank badge. Worn with olive Scout pants or shorts and a Scout belt. Required at all meetings and official events.
Activity Uniform ("Class B")
A Troop 31 t-shirt worn during campouts, service projects, and activities where the field uniform would be impractical.
Where to Purchase
Official BSA uniforms are available at the Daniel Ambass Scout Shop in Rochester, or online at scoutshop.org. Bring your membership card and troop number (31).
Patch Placement
The BSA handbook contains a complete guide to proper patch placement. The troop will assist new scouts in properly outfitting their uniforms. Temporary patches go on the right pocket.
